The countdown begins! Set your sights on York, Pennsylvania, and the greatest gathering of Fairlanes, Torinos, Talladegas, Cyclones, Rancheros, XLs, GTs, and more, which will happen at the Wyndham Gardens York, 2000 Loucks Rd, York PA 17408, on July 7-8, 2017!

Seeing all the cars is grand, but here’s a little secret, it’s the people who come along with them that make attending our annual National Meet the very best. We are Fairlane Friendly, and many of the fun gatherings occur naturally over the days of our show as folks share a meal, memories, or enthusiasm for the projects they’ve just completed on their cars. We come in early, Wednesday or Thursday, to renew or make new acquaintances, participate in Friday events and meetings, and turn out bright and early on Saturday morning for the best show and shine of the year. We finish with a fun evening of awards and celebration at 7 pm on Saturday, and round out the event with fellowship on the showfield, with cars shining under the stars. What could be better? Having you there with your family, and car too, or even without if your project hasn’t been completed yet. Come and be inspired! Come and make friends, learn, share, enjoy. We are the Fairlane Club of America, come shine with us!

What you need to know for now:

We welcome all club cars, from roadworthy project to concours restoration, and all variations between. We appreciate drivers, modifieds, original unrestoreds, those restored to stock, race configured, you name it, and our members have them. To display your car you must be a Fairlane Club of America member, and we always welcome new members. Members are welcome to bring families or other guests. All club members register (whether bringing a car or not) and may fully participate and vote. Guests do not register or vote, but may accompany members to events.

Pre-register with the form provided in Fairlaner magazine (this helps our planning and provides you with a small discount toward your show shirt). These must reach the club office by June 20. Or, you may register onsite on Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, or Saturday morning before 11 am.

Hotel Reservations may be made by calling 717-846-9500 or by using this link:
Our special Fairlane Club rate is available to you from July 2-11 at $109+tax per night, 1-4 persons, King with sofa bed or 2 Queen beds. Our rate includes a continental breakfast each morning. Make your reservation soon before availability disappears, and for sure before June 5.

Set-up and Breakdown teams, Plaque setters, Parking lot chalkers, Assistants to the Parking Czar, or to the Door Prize team. How about helpers for the Kids’ Mini-Drags or the Model Car table? Update 11/1/16

FCA National Meet, July 7-8, 2017, York, Pennsylvania (An FCA Member Event, and we always welcome new members!)

Friday, July 7, Activities

Judges’ meeting for those who have judged in the past or would like to do so in the future, and for those with cars entered in the Concours or Original classes.

Mini-Meets meeting for all who host or are considering hosting an FCA Mini-Meet in the future. This is a great time for an exchange of information between hosts, to learn about setting up an FCA Mini-Meet, or to meet up with your favorite Mini-Meet host and offer your assistance to aid an existing show.

Both of these meetings offer members opportunities to become more involved in the Members Helping Members mission of our club.

Noon: (time approximate). Line up for caravan cruise to Latimore Valley Fairgrounds and the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR) for Ford Fairlane Day (1-7 pm). There will be an area for our Club cars to park together inside the 1/2 mile dirt track (restored to its 1930’s appearance), during this part of the York US30 Heritage Days celebration of drag racing history. Special interest drag racing vehicles displayed; there’s also an area with picnic tables, restrooms, and some vendors.

Organizers of this event along with Al Joniec, Ford 428 Cobra Jet driver and winner of the 1968 NHRA Winternationals, will award Best of Class awards in several FCA car classes at 4 pm.

EMMR is a museum housing 24,000 square feet of motor racing cars, artifacts, memorabilia, video displays, a race-themed gift shop, plus an extensive library, located on the same property as the track/show field (free shuttle service between the track and the museum provided). For further info about the EMMR and York US30 Heritage Days check out

Latimore Valley Fairgrounds is approximately 18 miles from our hotel. We expect most will enjoy cruising in their Fairlanes, Torinos, and Merc cousins as we caravan over, but for those who will need to trailer their cars, onsite trailer parking is available at the track.

Saturday, July 8, FCA National Car Show!

8 – 4 pm. A full day of fun, FCA fellowship, and enjoyment with lots of car show and trailer parking and a lunch concession all right at our host hotel. Our evening Awards program will begin at 7 pm. More info on our Saturday schedule next time.
